EXCURSION 1.Today we make our way to Plymouth. You will have free time In
Plymouth, you could visit the Mayflower steps where pilgrims left the Isles
to travel on to Americas. After lunch we will discover Plymouth's stunning
coastline views and learn about its history and heritage on board our one hour
harbour cruise. Our captain will provide an informative live commentary,
as we sail across Plymouth Sound, flanked by the beautiful Devon and Cornish
coasts. Take in spectacular views of Plymouth.
Hoe and famous Drakes Island, heading for the Royal Naval Dockyard,
where the mighty warships and submarines await. You will have free time in
Plymouth in the afternoon.
EXCURSION 2.Today, we start our tour to the fishing village of Polperro.
Here it is easy to step back in time in what is a largely an unspoiled fishing village
on the South East coast of Cornwall. Its beautiful cottages cling to steep hillsides
around a small harbour with spectacular views of land and sea making it an artist's paradise.
We will continue our journey to Mevagissey which is an attractive old village and
was once the centre of Cornwall's fishing industry. We then travel to Fowey passing
through Par with its lovely traditional harbour. Fowey sits in an area of outstanding
beauty. Take the time to stroll along the Esplanade passing a grand parade of
Edwardian and Victorian houses to St. Catherine's Castles, which gives you
stunning views of the town and the harbour.
