EXCURSION 1. Today we will visit Rye, perched on a hill. This medieval town is so charming with its unhurried streets that hold many treasures. Luxury shops, antiques and artisan goods are all together on cobbled streets along narrow passageways. There are buildings from Medieval Tudor and Georgian periods all mixed together, even the sea is a little wayward, having stranded the town many years ago.
We then visit Hastings, which has undergone extensive regeneration in recent years.
EXCURSION 2. We will travel to Kingscote Station and the Bluebell Railway, the first preserved standard guage passenger line in the world. From here we will take a journey to Sheffield Park, on this journey you will feel that you have been transported back in time, with its nostalgic carriagesand wonderful stations surrounded by advertisements from days gone by. Arriving in Sheffield Park Gardens, you will be treated to its wonderful landscape gardens, internationally renowned with
thousands of mature trees, shrubs, its waterfalls and four pretty lakes.
