Excursion Include:

Excursion 1—Coastal drive to Lochranza via Pirnmill and Catacol with its “12 Apostles”. Board the ferry to the Mull of Kintyre. Along the shores of Loch Fyne, stopping for lunch at the Lochside Grey Gull Hotel. Time to take in the engineering marvel of the Crinan Canal, joining Loch Fyne at Ardrishaig to the open sea at Crinan some 9 miles long, There are 15 lock gates with over 2000 vessels using the canal each year.

Excursion 2—Morning free to take in the sea air & views or use the leisure facilities. Later, a leisurely drive to Brodick Castle & Gardens, overlooking the Firth. The castle is packed full of treasures, period furniture, paintings & silverware. The landscaped gardens, dated back to 1710, with water features, wildlife ponds, a collection of rhododendrons, Bavarian Summer House, walled garden and woodland walks towards the seashore.
