The twin towns of East Looe and West Looe sit astride the Looe River and offer safe beaches together with the possibility of boat trips around the bay or up the river. Hannafore Point—Looe

The Hannafore Point offers stunning panoramic views across Looe Bay and the unspoiled Cornish coast. Rooms at Hannafore Point are sumptuously decorated in a traditional style. Each room has satellite TV, a work desk and a bathroom with bath or shower. Some have sea views—Entertainment is provided at this hotel.

Excursion 1— After breakfast we will make our way to Cornwall most famous smuggling Inn museum, The Jamaica Inn. The Smugglers Museum houses one of the finest collections of smuggling artefacts in the country. Featuring ‘The History of Jamaica Inn’, an educational and historical film show, the Museum brings alive many of the myths and legends associated with Jamaica Inn and Cornwall, including tales of wreckers and smugglers over the past 300 years. This afternoon we board the Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway, Cornwall’s premier Steam Railway. We will travel through some of the most beautiful landscapes so sit back and enjoy this thrilling experience.

Excursion 2Mevagissey, a traditional Cornish fishing village with houses clustered around the pretty harbour. Then onto Fowey-pronounced Foy as in Joy... With its stunning harbour for leisure crafts and yachts and more recently a port for some enormous cruise liners too.
