Paignton is a seaside resort town on the South Devon on the South Devon coastline is sheltered Torbay, located between Brixham and Torquay it is a very popular holiday destination. Paignton has a magnificent Victorian Pier and a thriving harbour.

Situated on a promontory diving the two sandy beaches of Paignton and Preston, the Redcliff boasts a 400-metre water frontage, at sea level in the very centre of the outstanding beautiful Torbay, otherwise known as ‘The English Riviera’

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Travelling to Paignton with a comfort break en route

Day 2– The Dartmoor National Park is a vast moorland in Devon County, famous for its roaming ponies. Travelling on to the Dartmoor Visitor Centre, via Bovey Tracey, famous for its glass blown marbles, continuing through Morton Hampstead to the Iconic town of Postbridge. The journey continues to Princetown, the highest village on Dartmoor, take time to enjoy the glorious views. The visitors centre was a hotel, one of its guests Sir Arthur Conan Doyle took inspiration from here for ‘Hound of the Baskervilles’. Then on to Plymouth, considered to be England’s only Ocean City, where we will have a break, you could visit the Mayflower steps where pilgrims left this Isles to travel on to the Americas.

Day 3 & 4—Leisure Days  to enjoy all the local attractions, including Paignton Zoo, Paignton Pier, a thriving harbour with plenty of pleasure beaches. Or take a local bus along the coastline to Torquay.

Day 5–  The city if Exeter lies on the River Exe, dating back to Roman England. The city walls surround the impressive Gothic Exeter Cathedral. One of the finest cathedrals in England and considered to be the finest examples of Gothic architecture anywhere. The Historic Quayside is a very popular part of the town, with its fascinating warehouses and quayside architecture. In the afternoon, we travel to Exmouth. Exmouth developed as a resort in Georgian times and was once the most select seaside resort in Britain, home to such famous people as Lady Nelson and Lady Byron. We will take a cruise on the River Exe so you can admire the wonderful Jurassic Coastline (admission included)

Day 6– Today we will travel to Brixham, the harbour town has plenty to offer, with its working fishing boats and beautiful harbour. In the harbour is a replica of The Golden Hind, you can go aboard and see what life was like for its sailors. From Brixham we board a return boast cruise to Dartmouth along the way the captain will five a full commentary on the historic sights and wildlife in the area including the Britannia Naval College and Dartmouth Castle( admission included). Enjoy some free time in Dartmouth, so explore the twons enchanting streets and scenic river location, overlooking one of the finest natural harbour in the UK.

Day 7—Travelling back with a comfort break en route.
