Tour Itinerary

DAY 1 – On our way to the hotel, we will stop for lunch break at the drivers chosen destination, arriving at the hotel where you can relax before dinner

DAY 2 – A day of leisure – Enjoy a stroll on the beach or see the signs from the water with Canterbury Historic River Tours or visit the famous Canterbury Cathedral.

DAY 3 – After breakfast, we will depart for one of the largest network of wartime tunnels.In world War 2 the Ramsgate tunnels saved 60,000 lives. You will hear about the mad mayor who saved the town,discover how the tunnels where builit and listern to the stories of life under ground. You will have free time in Ramsgate to enjoy the golden beach. We will return to the hotel Via Deal. Deal a wonderful collection of colourful buildings complemented by fishing boats hauled up onto the shingle beach.

DAY 4 – Today, we will visit Dover Castle (price included), where we experience its unique visitor’s attraction, the Secret Wartime Tunnels where the dramatic rescue operation of the 1940 ‘Miracle of Dunkirk’ is vividly brought to life. There is also the “Fire Command Post” attraction to enjoy which reveals the story of how the castle acted as the military headquarters for the garrison fortress of over 10,000 men stationed in the Diver area. In the afternoon we will visit the Battle of Britain Memorial in Capel-le-Ferne. The National memorial is a peaceful spot where the heroes of the Battle of Britain are commemorated in this unique spot high on white cliffs.

DAY 5 – There will be a lunch break en route, arriving home in the afternoon.
