The Berkeley Hotel - Weymouth

The Berkeley Hotel is a 51 bedroom hotel set within an original Georgian building.

Situated just across from the impressive promenade and beach, the hotel forms part of Weymouth's historic Georgian terraced sea front. A 10 minute stroll will take you to the town centre and coach stop and a little further on will lead to the harbour, marina and restaurants. The train station is just a 5 minute walk as are bus stops to local areas.


Tour Highlights

Monday – Travelling to Weymouth, stopping enroute at Weston-Super-Mare for a short lunch break. Arriving in the hotel in the afternoon.
Tuesday – Todays tour focuses on the beautiful scenery around Lulworth Cove and the Durdle Door. The beautiful white pebble beach of Lulworth Cove with its stunning blue waters revealing rock pools teaming with sea creatures. The cove is one of the most recognisable beaches. Further along the coast is the iconic sight of the Durdle Door. This rock formation forms part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. We will then travel to Norden to board the Swanage Railway, an award-winning standard gauge preserved steam railway, with six miles of beautiful scenery passing through the magnificent ruins of Corfe Castle. Here you will leave the railway at Swanage which has a Blue Flag beach, and be taken back to your hotel. (admissions included)
Wednesday – A day of leisure you could enjoy the lovely seaside town, with it stunning harbour. Take a stroll around the beautiful Greenhill Gardens or maybe take a tour of the Stuart Wiltshire Glass. Or why not have a daytrip to Guernsey.
Thursday – Today we travel to Poole where its Market Day, enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches, visit the Quay or simply wander around the town. Then we travel to Bournemouth where you will have some free time. Why not visit the many gardens or miles of sandy beaches with panoramic views of the coastline. As well as offering the cultural town centre and iconic pier.
Friday - Travelling back home with lunch breaks at Burnham on Sea arriving in the afternoon
