Its landscapes vary from numerous attractive fishing villages to large expanses of gardens and landscapes. The warm climate of Cornwall allows many exotic plants to flourish in this area which is not possible anywhere else in England.

The Penmere Hotel -Falmouth

This is a beautiful hotel set in 4 acres of truly wonderful gardens. The hotel offers a good choice of cuisines and service is first class.
The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool, sauna and spa bath.

Tour Highlights

Saturday – We travel to our hotel with a lunch break and comfort stops enroute. Arriving late afternoon to relax before dinner.
Sunday – Day of leisure
Monday – We travel to Truro, Cornwall’s cathedral city with its cobbled streets and Georgian town houses. Truro is also Cornwall’s cultural and commercial centre with excellent pedestrianised shopping. From here drive towards St Austell and continue to Mevagissey. This a traditional Cornish fishing village with houses clustered around the pretty harbour.
Tuesday – Today we travel to Penzance traveling past the iconic rocky island crowned by a medieval church dating back to the 12th century, St Michaels Mount. We enjoy some free time in Penzance. The journey continues to St Ives where you will see beautiful golden sandy beaches. There is free time to enjoy at this location, with its working harbour or simply relax at a pavement café. There are many museums and art gallery’s which you may want to visit.
Wednesday – We head back home after breakfast with comfort stops enroute arriving late afternoon
