Park view Hotel -Wicklow

This superb 3-star hotel located in the small village of Newtownmountkennedy on the edge of the Wicklow National Park. Although modern in appearance the hotel offers a wonderfully relaxing ambience. All 60 bedrooms are bright and modern and decorated to a high standard.

Tour Highlights

Monday -We depart and head to Holyhead for our sailing to Dublin. We will then make our way to Newtownmountkennedy. On arrival at our hotel we will enjoy a welcome tea or coffee as your bags are taken to our rooms.

Tuesday – Powerscourt & Mount Usher Gardens
This morning, we head to Enniskerry to visit one of Ireland’s most famous tourist attractions, Powerscourt House and Gardens. We will spend time at leisure wandering around the beautiful gardens and taking in the sights of exotic plants, trees and shrubs along the tree trail walk. After lunch, we head south to Mount Usher Gardens to roam and explore the spectacular flora and fauna. Before we head back to our hotel for dinner, we will have the option of visiting the Wicklow Gaol. The Gaol is an atmospheric jail museum experience offering visitors a glimpse of life in prisons of the past, telling the story of its prisoners. Don’t hang around for too long though, as you may well find yourself locked up behind bars!

Wednesday -Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens
This morning we travel to Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens with a guided tour of The Irish National Stud, with entrance to the Japanese gardens, St Fiachra’s Garden & the horse Museum.

Thursday – Guinness Storehouse and Howth roundtrip cruise
This morning we travel to the Guinness storehouse for a guided visit includes a pint of Guinness or soft drink. This afternoon we take a Howth cruise round trip

Friday - Departure
This morning we head back to Dublin for our ferry to Holyhead.
