Day 1. We will travel to Llandudno via Chester,where there will be free time to explore the Roman City with various sites of interest which you can explore at your own leisure.
Day 2. Today we will visit the town of Betws-y-Coed, the principal village of the Snowdonia National Park. We then travel on the scenic Llanberis Pass to Snowdonia with some free time you could possibly visit the
National Slate Museum or admire the spectacular views. We will then travel on the Llanberis Lake railway steam train to view the lakes (admission included). Returning via the coast route back to the hotel.
Day 3. A day of leisure. Today, you can enjoy time at the Llandudno Museum, the Llandudno Pier, Oriel Mostyn Gallery or simply relax at West Shore Beach.
Day 4. Our scenic journey along the Conwy Bay today takes us past Conwy Castle with a short stop. Conwy Town is a world heritage site with an imposing thirteenth-century castle and walls. Conwy’s quaint harbour and stunning Telford suspension bridge makes it on the most popular seaside resort in Wales. Then onto the
Isle of Anglesey to visit the town of Beaumaris. A seaside town with a mix of medieval, Georgian and Victorian architecture. Take a walk through the town, starting with a stroll along the seafront, take in the pier and the
views over the Menai Strait and Snowdonia. Continue through the charming streets with their picturesque cottage painted in beautiful soft colours. Beaumaris Castle is a United Nations World Heritage Site and was
constructed between 1295-1330.From here we will take a boat ride to the Puffin Island, an uninhabited island and is designed a Special Protection Area due to its large cormorant population. Other sea birds such as guillemot, razorbill, shag, kittiwake and eider ducks are widely seen too (admission included).
Day 5. Travelling home via Llangollen, where you will have some free time to explore before
returning home in the afternoon.
