Friday - We will stop for lunch in Exeter, there will be time to visit the magnificent cathedral or explore the town. Then travelling to Looe arriving at your hotel in the afternoon.
Saturday - A day of leisure in Looe. You could visit the Old Guildhall and Goal or simply enjoy the town as it leads everyone into the Christmas Spirit with it’s Christmas Fair. Or you could join us as we start our Christmas break with a train journey from Looe to Bodmin Parkway, with a connection to the Bodmin and Wenford Stream Christmas Express. In the afternoon, we will travel to Padstow, take time to see the harbour with its floating illuminated displays or visit the traditional Christmas Market on the Quayside laden with Cornish goodies and gifts.
Sunday – Today we travel to Truro, the Capital City of Cornwall. The city is simply a wonderland, with fabulous lights and markets and a background of brass bands and carol singers. The famous twinned spired Cathedral lets you experience the quieter and more contemplative side of Christmas with some quiet and comforting carol singing. From here we will travel to the ancient city of Falmouth. Here again, you will find traditional markets and stalls, enjoy the sampling of food and drink made locally. The fabulous lighting leads you to the Moor, where on the run up to Christmas is the Festive Tree Festival you might even be able to see a Christmas film on the large screen in a heated marquee.
Monday – As we travel home, we will stop for lunch enroute, arriving home in the afternoon.
