Day 1– Today we travel to Winchester, explore more than 1000 years of medieval history, marvel at the 12th century wall paintings and carvings in the cathedral. You may view the illuminated Bible and see the statue of King Alfred The Great in Broadway.
Day 2 – A day of Leisure, you could just take time to enjoy the wonderful delights of Bournemouth, sit and enjoy the lovely Lower, Central and Upper Gardens or Alum Chine Gardens.
Day 3 - Today we travel to Christchurch. There is free time to explore the historic attractions of this unique town, while here you could explore the ruins of the Saxon Castle, capture the history of its charming quay or indulge in the local shops from here we take a scenic drive is taken through the New forest via Lyndhurst to Beaulieu National Park. From then we travel to the World of Beaulieu. Here you will discover the Motor Museum with the largest collections of cars, motorcycles and motoring memorabilia in the world. The Palace House and Gardens were once the gatehouse to the medieval Abbey. The gardens and mill pond are a treat to behold. Beaulieu was also the home of the finishing school for secret agents during world war II. You can travel through the resort using the monorail or take a vintage bus around the site. We will travel Lymington on our return to the hotel.
Day 4 – Today we travel to Poole, a town with a fantastic maritime heritage, from here we will take a boat cruise to Swanage, experience the fantastic scenery Dorset has to offer including Brownsea Island, Old Harrys Rock as well as taking in the views of the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO heritage site. While on this fantastic Cruise, the captain gives you a captivating live commentary on the history of this stunning region. We will have some free time in the lovely town of Swanage. From Swanage, we board a steam train ride to Norden, on this scenic journey you will have the opportunity to admire the ruins of Corfe Castle. The coach will collect your as we return to our hotel we will travel via Wareham, Thomas Hardy used this area for many of his famous books. Lastly passing through Sanderford, home to many famous millionaires.
Day 5 - There will be a lunch break enroute and regular comfort stops.
