Tour Highlights

Monday – Travelling to Paignton with a comfort break enroute.
Tuesday – Brixham is a charming fishing town on the southerly point of South Devon. Combining the traditions of a bustling central harbour with the colourful Fishermans cottages and charming streets. Within the harbour is a replica of the Sir Francis Drakes ship the Gold Hind. Step on board and experience how the sailors lived and worked onboard, from cooking and eating to living and sleeping. From Brixham we board a return boat cruise to Dartmouth along the way the captain will give a full commentary on the historic sights and wildlife in the area including the Britannia Naval College and Dartmouth Castle. Enjoy some free time in Dartmouth, so explore the towns enchanting streets and scenic river location, overlooking one of the finest natural harbour in the UK.
Wednesday – A leisure day to explore this beautiful traditional seaside resort. Maybe visit Paignton Zoo, take a stroll along its promenade and pier or even a boat cruise over to Brownsea Island, famous for its Red Squirrels and the original site of Baden Powell Scouting Movement.
Thursday – Sidmouth is a glorious old-style town, with a charming esplanade which runs the length of the beautiful beaches. The red stone cliffs tower over the resort, a reminder of its heritage to the Jurassic Coastline. Sitting proudly along the seafront are some fine examples of regency buildings making a stunning backdrop for this truly beautiful town. Travelling on to Exmouth, one of the oldest seaside towns in Devon with two miles of beautiful beach and the gateway to the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. You could take a stroll along the dramatic cliffs dating back over 250 million years, you may even find a fossil or two. The small town lies in a sheltered position where the River Ex meets the sea. Its small harbour is so pretty, from here you can take a pleasure boat trip either on the River or out to sea along the coast.
Friday – Travelling back with a comfort break enroute
