This hotel is situated on the sea front on a level overlooking the famous Babbacombe Downs and has sweeping views across Babbacombe Bay. You can sit outside and look out on this beautiful scenery, it has been recently extensively refurbished with the new owners introducing mouth-watering new cuisines in the Chandelier Restaurant.

Tour Highlights

Friday – Weston Super Mare – A very traditional seaside resort with a fabulous Central Pier, miles of sandy beaches and a recently refurbished promenade. You could take a ride on the land train up and down the vast promenade or pier. Enjoy some lunch here.
Saturday - Today we will enjoy a delightful the beautiful English Rivera, starting in Dartmouth. A picturesque town sitting on the banks of the River Dart. It boasts a lovely castle, with quaint streets and alleyways and a lovely quay. Then onwards to Brixham, a lovely secluded harbour boasting The Golden Hind, a stunning example of our early maritime heritage. A truly pretty town with small merchants selling local produce, and some say the best fish and chips in the area. Onto Paignton, a tradition seaside town with beautiful sandy beaches. Lastly Torquay, an old town with a real cosmopolitan feel. The new quay and bridge is truly lovely, the harbour is home to both traditional craft and more modern-day yachts and cruise ships.
Sunday – Day of Leisure Take a ride on the lovely cliff railway down to Oddicombe Beach or take a stroll along the small pier at Babbacombe Beach. Take the time to visit the model village with its thousands of houses and miles of railway track or spend the afternoon in Bygones Museums a three-storey building with street scenes and products from recent history.

Monday – returning with a lunch break enroute, possibly at Burnham on Sea.
