Sunday - Travel to Tenby stopping at Cardiff Harbour, you can get some lunch, looking out at this recently restored harbour with its Iconic features and buildings, a really pleasant place to have some lunch. Arriving at our hotel mid-afternoon giving you time to relax before your evening meal.
Monday – A day of leisure, you could stay within the town and visit the lifeboat station, the Tudor Merchant House and the Upton Castle Gardens. Alternatively, simply enjoy the many viewing points along the seafront and relax in the summer sunshine.
Tuesday - Carmarthen, a glorious town known for its Castle and railway. Explore the signal box and the station before boarding the Gwilli Steam Train, for a return journey. This Welsh heritage railway operates along the railway line from the site of Abergwili Junction in southwest Wales to the town of Carmarthen. Take some free time to enjoy the bustling market town and take advantage and grab some bargains. In the afternoon, we will travel to the National Botanical Garden of Wales. There is the peaceful surroundings of the Japanese Garden, its teahouse, cherry trees and the largest glasshouse in the World.
Wednesday - A day of leisure, you could stay within the town and visit the lifeboat station, the Tudor Merchant House and the Upton Castle Gardens. Alternatively, simply enjoy the many viewing points along the seafront and relax in the summer sunshine.
Thursday -A scenic drive to Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, second best in the world. Travel to Pembroke via Lamphey where the medieval fortress birthplace to Henry VII stands. Take some free time to enjoy the town of Pembroke. Our Journey continues to St Davids Cathedral which is a 6th century Monastery which has been a site of pilgrimage for many hundreds of years. There is free time available to visit the inspiring Cathedral and learn the history of this impressive religious site. In the afternoon, we return to our hotel via Haverford West where you will have some free time if time permits.
Friday – Travelling to Cardigan Bay. The ancient town of Cardigan sits of the estuary of the River Teifi, with its unspoilt townscape and its rich heritage makes it great place to explore. The Scenery is stunning, from the beautiful river estuary to the wide expanse of sea, you will be amazed at the landscapes that surround you. There will be amble time available, if you would like to book a cruise out to see the Dolphins and other creatures of the deep.
Saturday – Travelling back with a lunch break enroute, arriving in the afternoon
