Thursday– On our journey to Sidmouth we will be stopping at Weston Super Mare for a lunch break, so take a walk along the pier or explore the town. Arriving at our hotel in the afternoon so you can relax prior to your evening meal.
Friday - A leisure day, you could maybe visit the Sidmouth Museum, the Park Hill Lamas or book tickets for a show at the Manor Pavilion Theatre.
Saturday – The morning will be enjoyed at Bicton Park & Botanical Gardens with 300 years of horticultural history and grade 1 listed gardens, that has lots to offer from a natural trail and historic glasshouse. (admissions included) We continue to Exmouth where you will have board a boat cruise along the River Exe and admire the beautiful sights. There is free time to enjoy before departing for our hotel.
Sunday – Dorchester, a Roman town with a very varied history. The home town of Thomas Hardy. Thomas Hardy wrote many novels using the inspiration of the local area in his writings. The Town Pump is the central point, located next to the Corn Exchange and its impressive clock tower. The Borough Gardens will be stunning with a perfusion of spring bedding centred around the restored Victorian Bandstand. Then onto the popular resort of Weymouth which is surrounded by stunning countryside with its rolling Dorset Downs and scenic paths. Its Crowning glory is perhaps the beautiful beach and seafront boasting a variety of shops and cafes, perfect for a leisurely stroll, you are guaranteed a relaxing and entertaining time.
Monday – On our journey home we will have a lunchbreak at Burnham on Sea
