Tuesday – Our Mountain Safari Day. We will meet our kilted rangers, armed with your binoculars and cameras. Our transport for the day will be specialised 4 x 4 vehicles to ensure you get the very best experience. They will transport you in comfort and safety into Europe’s last wilderness. From the tops of the hillsides and moorland the scenery is breathtaking. We are hopeful that you will be able to spot Grouse, Mountain hares, deer and Golden Eagles. During our safari, we will stop off for a ‘wee dram’ and shortbread at a mountain chalet. For lunch, we have organised a stop at The Kenmore Hotel, with stunning views across Loch Tay. (admissions included)
Wednesday– A tour of contrasting scenery from Perthshire to Speyside, stopping off at the highly acclaimed Highland Folk Museum. With over 30 historical buildings to wander through and lots of displays and artefacts which all tell very personal stories of the people of the Highlands. Enjoy some free time here in the shadow of Ben Nevis, you could also visit The West Highland Museum on the High Street with their collections tell the story of Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobite cause. Returning through some stunning scenery of Glencoe, Loch Earn and Crieff.

Every room within the Castle tells its own story, with myths and legends around every corner. The gardens surrounding the Castle are beautiful all year round, with woodlands, formal Italian Gardens and a Pinetum (Pine Garden) for you to explore. (admissions included) On our return to the hotel, we will stop in the city of Dundee, referred to as Scotland’s sunniest city, sitting on the Tay estuary.
