Set across the street from Valley Park and a 10-minute walk from The Spa complex, this laid-back hotel is a 9-minute walk from the beach and a 7-minute walk from the Rotunda Museum.

Saturday – Enroute to our hotel, we will stop for a lunch break in York. Within its walls is a heart of rich and colourful character, its history recorded in the street, buildings and museums gathered around the mighty Minster. Discover the many treasures and architectural gems that this remarkable city has to offer, its quaint cobbled streets, the famous Shambles and the National Railway Museum.
Sunday – Enjoy a day of leisure in Scarborough, enjoy the promenade in the attractive Belvedere Gardens, the spa footbridge to the town centre or take the cliff lift down to the golden beaches of the South Bay. The magnificent castle sits majestically overlooking the bay.
Monday – In the afternoon we will visit Bridlington. The Priory and Church of St Marys in Bridlington, has a fascinating history playing a part in the dissolution of the monasteries, however an interesting fact is that some of the old stones from the original Priory have been used to support the pier. You will be free to get some lunch here. If time permits we travel to Filey with glorious views of the Yorkshire coastlines. In the town of Filey is a great little museum which was once a Fishermans cottage and farm cottage.
Tuesday - This morning we travel to Pickering for some free time before boarding the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, travelling through the Dales to Goathland. This line was used extensively in the Harry Potter Films. (admissions included) There will be free time in Whitby, where there will be the opportunity of visiting the ruins of the historic Abbey of St Hilda which towers over the harbour.
Wednesday – We travel to Driffield, look out for its famous tower dominating the landscape. Then onto Beverley, a stunning market town, with its awe-inspiring Minster, historical buildings and cobble streets. The Georgian Quarter has fascinating 15th Century North Bar and many other listed buildings. We return home with a lunch break enroute arriving home in the afternoon.
