Friday – We will travel to Weston Super Mare for a lunch break. A lovely traditional seaside resort, take a stroll along The Grand Pier or simply sit and enjoy some lunch whilst admiring the view. Arriving at our hotel late afternoon giving you time to relax before your evening meal.
Saturday – A day of leisure maybe visit the Ilfracombe Aquarium, the unique Tunnel Beaches, fascinating Ilfracombe Museum, Larkstone Leisure Park, or Hele Cornmill. Ilfracombe also offers many fine award-winning beaches, with secluded coves and wide stretches of golden sand.
Sunday - Today we will take a scenic drive along the coast visiting Woolacombe, Croyde and passing Saunton Sands. The straight sandy beach forms part of the Braunton Burrows a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and is often used by the military for training purposes. Then on to Barnstaple one of the oldest towns in Devon. With a mix of old and new charm you can visit the independent boutique shops and sample the proud local food. After enjoying some free time at these resorts, we will make our way home with a short leisure break.
Monday - On our journey home we will travel home via Lynton and Lynmouth, the pretty harbour village of Lynmouth sits at sea level, whilst Lynton sits higher amongst the trees, full of quaint narrow lanes and independent shops to explore. Often known as ‘Little Switzerland’ the area is a walker’s paradise.
