Monday – On our journey to Cricceth we stop at Shrewsbury with free time for you to enjoy your lunch. Sitting with glorious countryside near to the Welsh Borders, it is one of England’s finest medieval market towns. With over 600 listed buildings, including a Castle and the world-famous Shrewsbury Abbey, home to the fictional Brother Cadfael.

Tuesday – After breakfast we are will make our way to Caernarfon. The Castle is one of the most famous in Wales, sitting prominently on the waterfront and encasing the town in its stunning walls. Enjoy some free time to explore the medieval town. From here we continue to the Pringle Woollen Mill, at Llanfair… gogogoch for a break. A small town with a very large name, maybe even have a go at pronouncing it. Beaumaris, is home to another of North Wales Castles, this one is considered one of the most technically perfect castles within the United Kingdom. This afternoon we visit Llandudno, an elegant Victorian resort. Enjoy a visit to The Home Front or Llandudno Museum (vouchers provided for entry) return for dinner and evening entertainment at the hotel.

Wednesday –Spend a leisurely day in Cricceth. The medieval castle sits majestically on the headland. The Victorian Seaside town has two distinct beaches either side of the castle. David Lloyd George ‘The Welsh Wizard’ once lived in Criccieth, there is a museum dedicated to his life in the local town of LLanystumdwy.

Thursday– Today we travel to Porthmadog for a ride the Welsh Highland and Ffestiniog Railway. The railway stretches for 40 miles through the glorious Snowdonia National Park, allowing you to experience the magnificent scenery in comfort whilst savouring the romance of gleaming steam engines and carriages. (admissions included) We continue our journey on the coach through beautiful scenic purple slate mountains to enjoy free time at Betws-y-Coed. We return to our hotel travelling through the Llanberis Pass to Snowdonia with spectacular views of the mountains and Podarn Lake.

Friday – We return via Dolgellau and the scenic Bala Lake with a lunch break in Llangollen.
