Tour Highlights

The island itself has so many varied sites of heritage importance, from the landmark of The Needles and the lighthouse. Each coastline is very different in character and range from river estuaries to soaring cliffs, with secluded coves perfect for rock pooling and beautiful beaches.
Saturday - Today we travel to the Island with regular comfort breaks enroute.
Sunday – We go on an Island Tour, starting with the attractive village of Godshill with its many thatched cottages. Then onto Yarmouth, a bustling town with a stunning castle and a lovely natural harbour. Alum Bay sits on the west of the Island, the area is famous for its coloured sands and The Needles. As we return along the military road look out for Brighsome Bay.
Monday - A day of leisure. You could visit the Isle of Wight Zoo, The Garlic Farm, Sandown Pier or the Glory Art Glass.

Tuesday - The town of Cowes, sitting in the north of the Island is Cowes split into two by the mouth of the River Medina, both sides are steeped in maritime heritage, with large marinas making them popular for sailing ships and yachts. We will then call into Osbourne House, the residence of Queen Victoria (admission Included). Finally, before returning to the hotel we visit the quintessential village of Godshill, boasting some of the oldest architecture on the Island, the charming thatched cottages and medieval church.

Wednesday – Our first stop today is Rosemary Vineyards, one of the largest producers of English wine, covering 30 acres with a wonderful climate just perfect for growing vines. A guided tour of the vineyard will explain the art of wine making. The afternoon is spent in Ryde.

Thursday – A day of leisure. You could visit the Isle of Wight Zoo, The Garlic Farm, Sandown Pier or the Glory Art Glass.

Friday - Returning with regular comfort breaks enroute
